Answer the following questions using only song titles/lyrics by a band of your choice

Band/Artist: The Spill Canvas

1. Are you male or female: Excuse me, sir

2. Describe yourself: Valiant

3. How do some people feel about you?: Captivating while evading

4. How do you feel about yourself?: I romanticize every single thing I do

5. Describe an old girlfriend/boyfriend/interest: Shoula kissed you in the elevator, but I was too scared to.

6. Describe your current girlfriend/boyfriend/interest: I'm rackin my brain
trying to comprehend
how, for some unknown reason, our status will remain as friends
I'm destroying my mind
trying to understand how with little to no effort
you've got me eating out of the palms of your hands

or: Oh-my-God, not even hell
could be hotter than you right now

or: I can honestly say
That I never, ever, ever felt this way
Your lips, your eyelashes, your skin
These are the parts of your body
That cause my comatose to begin

7. Where are you?: Earth

8. Where would you rather be?: Under the Covers

9. Describe what you want to be: Sunken in the quicksands of love

10. Describe how you live: Leading a life that is finally free

11. Describe how you love: So tonight I'll sit and pick apart your pictures
And overanalyze your words
But the truth is that I've never fallen so hard
It's taking everything in me

12. Share a few words of wisdom: Crack open a bottle of red

There was a young man from Stamboul
Who soliloquized thus to his tool:
"You took all my wealth
And you ruined my health,
And now you won't pee, you old fool."

Anybody heard of these guys (Hard-Fi)?  The debut album from these Brits is a pretty fun listen.  Especially check out their single "Cash Machine".

P.S.  Have you been made aware that you are single yet today?

Here is a paragraph from the book I'm reading for english class that caught my attention.  Chew on this:

"When a film's heroine inoocently coughts, you know that two scenes later, at most, she'll be in a n oxygen tent; when a man bumps into a woman at the train station, you know that man will become the woman's lover and/or murderer.  In everyday life, where we cough often and are always bumping into people, our daily actions rarely reverberate so lucidly.  Once we love or hate someone, we can think back and remember that first casual encounter.  But what of all the chance meetings that nothing ever comes of?  While our bodies move ever forward on the time line, our minds continuously trace backward, seeking shape and meaning as deftly as any arrow seeking its mark."

from Autobiography of a Face by Lucy Grealy
